What administrative procedures are included in Endesa’s Solar Offer?

  • Processing of the most common municipal permits, such as: minor construction permit, sworn statement of compliance with urban planning regulations, general request form, and prior notification. Additionally, other documents that are typically required to obtain permits include: Technical Design Report, energy calculations, detailed budget, single-line diagrams, application forms, project photos and plans.
  • Legalisation and registration in the regional self-consumption registry under the ‘Self-consumption with surplus and simplified compensation’ option: once the installation has been completed, by submitting the usual documents: Technical Design Report and Electrical Installation Certificate (CIE) (documents provided by the installer).

What administrative procedures are not included in Endesa’s Solar Offer??

  • Payment of fees or taxes arising from the application for the relevant permits required for the installation. For example, the Tax on Constructions, Installations and Works (ICIO), which must be paid by the customer.
  • Processing of non-standard administrative permits, such as requesting a connection point from the electricity supplier, home legalisation, as well as other prior authorisations not covered by the offer, load studies, environmental impact assessments, waste management analyses, AESA certification, health and safety studies beyond those legally required, and any reports that must be endorsed by an official professional association. These will not be considered included and will be quoted separately.
  • For legalisation and registration in the Self-Consumption Registry, any other additional specific documents not included in the standard installation, or any other self-consumption option not specified, will also not be covered.
  • Management of other municipal subsidies or incentives, such as ICIO or Property Tax (IBI) tax rebates, or any other types of grants not specified in the offer, is also excluded.

Will I reduce my electricity consumption?

SYes, you’ll be saving from day one. Your photovoltaic system will directly supply energy to your home during solar production hours. All these self-consumed kWh will not be supplied by your electricity supplier, which means direct savings on your electricity bill.

Additionally, you’ll make the most of any surplus energy by opting for surplus compensation and/or a virtual battery. All this energy will be tracked, and you’ll receive credit on your bill for each kWh fed into the grid. We’ll handle all the necessary paperwork for you.

Can I install a storage battery?

Yes, with the Solar Kits with Battery. Having a physical battery will allow you to be more self-sufficient by storing the energy you produce and using it during hours without solar production—mainly at night or on cloudy days.

The more you use the energy you produce and the less you rely on the electricity grid, the more you can save—up to 70% on your bills. The more energy you store in the battery and the more you use it, the greater your monthly savings, and the faster you’ll recover your investment in the solar panels.

How long will it take for the system to be up and running?

The installation process usually takes no more than two days. However, before we can start, we need municipal approval, and this procedure varies greatly depending on the City Council.

What type of installation suits me best?

We’ll offer the proposal that best suits your needs. A larger installation is not always better, since you might generate more energy than you need or generate it at times when it’s less useful. Nevertheless, our technician will advise you on the best solution for your specific needs.

Is the price fixed?

Yes. An increase in price would only be necessary in exceptional cases: if our technician identifies any additional costs during the visit to your home (longer cable runs, special difficulties, concrete counterweights for flat-roof installations, etc.). In that case, and/or if the City Council requires a special project or additional documentation, we would inform you and provide a quote before you sign the contract.

How does Endesa Solar Cero work?

Depending on the size of the solar panels you install, you’ll receive a volume of kWh to consume with a 100% discount for three years.

The kWh we provide for free exceed the average annual grid consumption we estimate for your home. When you renew your contract, this volume of kWh will be reset for the next 12 months until the end of the three-year period.

With Endesa Solar Cero, surplus energy will not be compensated. However, with this tariff, you simply won’t pay for your energy consumption*.

How can I sign up for Endesa Solar Cero?

If you’ve purchased solar panels from Endesa on or after 27 May 2024, you can sign up for this tariff. Other requirements to be eligible include: your solar panels must be installed, and your electricity supplier must have confirmed that your self-consumption system is active.
